Visa
Visa is the most recognizable credit card name in the entire world. Along with MasterCard, it is the most widely accepted credit card brand. Visa works in co-operation with major credit card-issuing banks like Bank of America, Chase and Capital One. Some of the world’s most recognizable companies have their own special rewards cards with Visa. Marriott, Sony, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and MTV have their own credit cards that offer rewards specific to each company. Visa has high end cards and low end cards. The Visa Black Card ($495 annual fee) is a powerful rewards card that offers perks similar to American Express Platinum Card, including world-wide concierge service and airport lounge access. On the other end of the spectrum are cards like the Capital One Journey Student Rewards Card and Citi MTVU Platinum Select, which help young consumers build a credit history. Visa has a full range of products for anyone, regardless of their current needs. For people who are concerned about whether or not a business will accept their credit card, Visa is the obvious choice because it is accepted literally anywhere in the world that credit cards are accepted.
